HSBC did an advertisement about Brexit and The Metro paper had that page conveniently open on the seat in front of me on the bus, I had to pick it up and steal it. I wasn't paying attention to the actual message of the advert, I honestly couldn't care less what they was saying. I thought the graphics of it and everything looked beautiful though and I wanted to recreate it instantly.

I've already wrote about this in the 'Forever Manchester' blog post, so it's going over the same ground a little bit. Never the less I looked up famous Manchester land marks and icons (that I didn't end up using) and then started writing my own poem.

I also did a little mock up with a quick poem that was different just to see what it could look like.

I then went into Illustrator and took the Forever Manchester logo from Google, and recreated this mock up but with my actual poem.

Honestly this is probably one of my favourite pieces I've done digitally, it looks very professional in my opinion. If I was to do it again I would try to rewrite the poem and mention the stuff that I actually researched. Then again I specifically made it vague when writing it because I wanted everybody to feel like they can have a connection to it. I mention Manchester City FC without mentioning them which I feel is the perfect way to go about it. It was also the way HSBC do it too.
