I've had my ups and downs when creating this documentary, mostly due to the fact that I forgot to do it until the day before the deadline. Then when I was about to export it I saved it and lost all my work and for a brief 10 minutes of panic thought I'd have to do it all again. Luckily I managed to recover it!

One thing that has been a big let down for me during the behind the scenes is well, the footage. I'll be very focused on doing my project and I'll forget to hit record or I'll try to record it with one hand and paint with the other which creates an intense shaky cam effect. I also only had the clips for creating the Beetham piece and nothing else.

Another thing I lacked was that I didn't really have any footage of me doing the processes, I just skipped to the end results of each stage.

I really want to try to do this again though, and for when I do I have compiled a list of things for me to remember to do/remember.

Record everything! - Set up a tripod when doing something long (eg painting) to get a time-lapse.

When doing a PTC actually look at the camera and speak clearly.

When doing a close up of my work, linger on it to give the view a chance to read it

I am hoping to do the same practise for when I do an FMP, I hopefully want to capture the entire journey of creating the brief to the final product.
